What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data sent from a website and stored in a visitor's browser. These are typically used to track the settings you've selected and the activity on your site. 

There are two types of cookies:

Depending on how long they are stored, we can distinguish between "persistent cookies" and "session cookies" . 

  • A persistent cookie is a cookie that remains on your computer until it expires or is deleted.

  • Session cookies, on the other hand, are deleted when you close your browser. ​

How do I delete cookies?

Most cookies are easy to delete. Just select your browser and follow the instructions .

Chrome

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

  2. Select a time range.

  3. Select the "Cookies and other site data" checkbox.

  4. Click the "Clear Data" button.

Firefox

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

  2. Select the time range you want to delete.

  3. Select the "Cookies" checkbox.

  4. Click the "Delete Now" button.

Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, select Settings.

  2. Go to the Privacy tab.

  3. Click "Manage site data."

  4. Click "Remove All."

Edge

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

  2. Select the "Cookies and saved site data" checkbox.

  3. Click the "Delete" button.

Internet Explorer

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.

  2. Select the "Cookies and site data" checkbox.

  3. Click the "Delete" button.
